Announcing White Star Capital’s partnership with Valérie Grenier, Canada’s premier alpine ski racer
White Star Capital is excited to announce our sponsorship of Canada’s premier alpine ski racer, Valérie Grenier.
Having just completed another exceptional season, which included a Giant Slalom World Cup victory in Slovenia (the first World Cup GS win by a Canadian in 49 years), Valérie has built a reputation as one of Canada’s most exciting ski prospects.
Having first strapped on skis at the age of two, Valérie burst onto the international racing scene when she won a bronze medal at the 2015 World Junior Championships. A few years later, at 21, she competed in her first Olympic Games at PyeongChang in 2018, starting in the giant slalom, super-G, downhill, and alpine combined, and then again at Beijing 2022.
Her journey as an athlete is nothing short of inspiring. Despite facing injury setbacks that kept her off the circuit for two seasons, Valérie showed impressive resilience to bounce back in the 2020/21 season and has continued to push herself to new heights since.
As a global investor, White Star Capital is committed to promoting and supporting individuals who embody our values of perseverance, dedication, and excellence, wherever they may call home. Valérie is a perfect example of the kind of individuals we are proud to support, be they athletes or entrepreneurs, and we are excited to be a part of her team.
The entire team White Star Capital wishes Valérie all the best as she continues to compete at the highest level and we look forward to cheering her on throughout the next season as she continues to make her mark in the world of alpine skiing.
